- Account information — name, email address, and user type (buyer, seller, or both) when you register.
- Listing data — property details, photos, descriptions, and pricing that sellers provide.
- Messages — communications between buyers and sellers through our in-app messaging system.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions with the Platform for analytics purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the marketplace
- To facilitate connections between buyers, sellers, and partners
- To process listing payments
- To send transactional emails (listing confirmations, messages, etc.)
- To improve the Platform based on usage patterns
- To prevent fraud and ensure platform security
3. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or process:
- Bitcoin wallet addresses or private keys
- Government-issued identification (we are not a financial institution)
- Social Security numbers or tax identification numbers
- Bank account information
4. Data Sharing
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- With your consent — when you request an introduction to a partner, we share your contact information with that partner.
- Service providers — Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting/database), Vercel (hosting), and analytics providers.
- Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure database hosting with row-level security policies, and secure payment processing through Stripe.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Listing data for expired or sold properties is retained for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use analytics tools (PostHog) to understand how users interact with the Platform. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Export your data in a portable format
