Three paths, depending on what the buyer and seller agree to:
- Direct BTC settlement — buyer's wallet to seller's wallet, no conversion. Settled through BTCPay Server. Both parties need Enhanced KYC.
- Convert at close — buyer sends BTC to a licensed payment partner (BitPay, Strike, River), who delivers USD to the seller's closing account. Locked rate at signing protects against price moves.
- BTC-backed loan — buyer keeps their Bitcoin and borrows USD against it from a partner lender. Closing is a traditional cash transaction.
Sats n' Keys never holds, custodies, or transmits funds in any of these paths.
